Hailing from the national university of singapore (nus) with a background in economics, varun ambike is an eloquent young man with an appetite for knowledge and desire for excellence.
“I love to put time and effort into what I’m doing,” Varun puts forward brightly. “Whether it’s liaising with individuals or performing research on specific markets, I do my best to stay as sincere and dedicated.”
When probed about his reasoning for selecting this profession to kickstart his career, Varun said:
“Even though the concepts aren’t specifically identical, there are strong links between economics and management of another individual’s finances. I believe I can leverage my existing skills to benefit people-regardless of whether it’s by protecting their finances or growing their assets.”
In his free time, Varun enjoys playing the tabla- paired hand drums that are used extensively in Hindustani classical music. With his sister and father providing the vocals, this talent also serves as a family bonding activity through performances and rehearsals.
“I think it’s a healthy distraction away from work- it provides an alternative avenue for recreation other than jogging for health.”
