As the world restarts its cogwheels on the heels of recent global circumstances, katherine tan embarks on her journey into the realm of financial planning.
A spirited individual, Katherine’s career has its roots in marketing communications.
Having spent fifteen years in a corporate environment, she decided to make the switch following a variety of favorable personal experiences with financial services.
“I believe in insurance,” Katherine affirms. “I paid for my own savings plan when I was seventeen. When I started working at twenty, I began buying and working on my financial portfolio.”
“It makes sense for an average income earner to have some form of backing in the case of a crisis. Over the years, I’ve made several smaller claims that have benefitted me.
One of the biggest reasons why I wanted to make a fresh start in financial planning was because I feel it’s rewarding to help to save and protect the lives of others.
On a personal level, I think it’s important to share the good news and protect as many people as possible. I may not be able to help the entire world, but I’m doing my part by protecting my sphere of influence.”
Katherine also believes in providing value through comprehensive financial planning. She attests to having had positive experiences with several financial advisors along the way, and is eager to train herself to form her own style of managing financial portfolios.
“As of now, I’m taking it one step at a time. I want to see how far I can grow, and I’m giving it my best shot.”
At home, Katherine spends her time baking; often, these occasions are bonding experiences together with her family.
“Time with your children is important.” Katherine asserts. “Flash cards, books and education are critical, but so are life experiences. I actively bring my daughter out to experience the world first-hand.”
These regular excursions also serve to ingrain a sense of street awareness.
Katherine begins her career as a Financial Services Consultant (FSC) come the end of the month. Welcome to Forte Group!
